Ayrshire Games Expo is a community-driven tabletop gaming event, created from a genuine love of games, socialising, and bringing people together.
Organised by Troon Tabletop following the success of weekly gaming sessions, the Expo is a response to something clear. There is a growing and passionate tabletop community across Ayrshire, but very few opportunities to bring everyone together in one place.
This event aims to change that.
Our Vision
Our goal is to grow Ayrshire Games Expo into an annual event and the premier tabletop gaming convention in Ayrshire.
Inspired by events like Tabletop Scotland and Rauma Mini Con, we want to create something that feels exciting, welcoming, and rooted in the local community. We want to create something that people look forward to year after year.
Our Mission
At its heart, Ayrshire Games Expo is about bringing people together through tabletop gaming.
We want to:
- Connect gamers from across Ayrshire
- Create a space where people can meet, play, and share their interests
- Make tabletop gaming more accessible to those who are curious or just getting started
Whether you’re a long-time player or completely new, there’s a place for you here.

You can come along with friends, bring the family, or attend solo. The aim is to create an environment where everyone feels comfortable joining in.

- Explore trading cards, accessories, and local businesses
- See just how much interest in tabletop gaming exists across Ayrshire
For many, gaming groups can feel isolated due to the rural nature of Ayrshire. This event helps showcase the wider community that already exists and helps it grow.
We’re excited to be building something special for Ayrshire, and this is just the beginning!
Who is Troon Tabletop?
We organise weekly tabletop gaming sessions including board games, trading cards and role-playing. Our welcoming atmosphere is the perfect place to meet new people and get into the hobby at your own pace. We host regular attendees, existing gamer friend groups and newcomers alike!
You can expect a curated library of games to choose from or feel free to bring your own. There’s plenty of of classic and modern board games and we’re on hand to help with any pesky rules questions. Looking to try Catan or just a relaxed game of Sushi Go? Troon Tabletop has you covered.

- Troon Tabletop meets every Sunday from 1.30 – 4pm
- Find us in the Troon Scout Hall, 30 St Meddans Street, Troon, KA10 6EF
- Entry costs £5 or £2.50 for under 16s and includes refreshments and biscuits!
